Vishwa Hindu Parishad is regarded as the largest Hindu organisation in Bharat and is engaged in many aspects of education, seva, advocacy, training and organizing the Hindu society. It was first launched in 1964 by Guruji Golwalker who was the second Sarsangachalak of RSS who presided over RSS for 33 years amongst other important Hindu leaders. Its main objective is to unite the entire Hindu galvanizing, strengthening and organizing them.
A wide range of Sants, Swamis, Acharyajis and Yogis came together to pave the way for organizing the Hindu society and in the process to network and build an informed and empowered society for the future. Vishwa Hindu Parishad grew to be established in several countries outside Bharat.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad -South Africa is a non-profit organization committed to supporting our society to help educate and inspire change through various activities, conducting Training and Education Sessions, Seva activities as well as engaging in HOTA activities-(Hindu Organisations and Temple Associations) to foster growth at the temple level.The need for management principles for temples are key to expand the work of Hindu
organisations. Temples must expand their services to cover such aspects as family health and well- being, youth development, business and propagation of Hindu Dharma. As learning centres of hope and light, temples must move beyond prayer to be innovative and impactful in society.
